Also approves widening to 4-lane with length 108.643 km of Deshgaon-Julwania section under Hybrid Annuity Mode.

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, chaired by Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi approved the upgradation works of NH-347B in Madhya Pradesh. The project, on Hybrid Annuity Mode, has been approved with an outlay of INR 4,415.60-crore.

The existing 125.01 km central lane of Hiwarkhedi-Roshni-Ashapur-Rudhi section will be upgraded to 2-lane with paved shoulder standards. Along with this, the existing 2-lane road under Deshgaon-Julwania section will be widened to 4-lane with a length of 108.643 km.

As part of this project, a new greenfield bypass of 16.20 km length will also be constructed in Khargone district. The project will result in improved average vehicular speed, reduced travel time, and overall road safety, fuel efficiency, and reduced handling cost.
