Toll collections grew 14 per cent to a record INR 82,900-crore in the just-ended fiscal year, underscoring addition of new toll roads, accelerated economic activity, and roll out of the new annual FASTag facility. Tolls worth INR 72,931-crore were collected in FY25.

The volume of FASTag transactions rose 5.7 per cent to nearly 4.45 billion in FY26 from 4.21 billion in the year before, showed National Electronic Toll Collection (NETC) data tracked by the National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI). India's tolled road length more than doubled to 55,812 km as of November 2025, from 26,067 km in FY19.
