GREW Solar to set up 3.0 GW solar cell and module manufacturing facility in Narmadapuram, MP
GREW Solar plans to establish a three-stage backward integrated manufacturing unit in Bhopal for solar module production with a commitment to invest INR 3,000-crores. Located at Narmadapuram, near Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, this state-of-the-art facility spanning over a total area of 60 acres, will have an annual capacity to produce 3.0 GW of solar cells which will aid to meeting the PV solar cell and module demands within the country and beyond.
In addition to the capacity building initiative, GREW Solar recently commenced operations of the second unit in Jaipur, Rajasthan and has started the construction of their next phase – 3 unit. The high-tech facility in Jaipur that is adhering to international standards and featuring world-class automated machinery will bring Grew Solar Jaipur plant’s total capacity of 8.0 GW.
