Celebrating
its 100th anniversary, Uralungal Labour Contract Cooperative Society
(ULCCS) — Asia’s largest labour cooperative and the world’s second-largest
labour contracting cooperative — has launched U-Sphere, a dedicated venture
into futuristic, high-tech, and eco-friendly building construction solutions
focused on advanced, pre-engineered, and precision-built structures that is
faster than conventional construction. This strategic expansion positions ULCCS
at the forefront of next-generation infrastructure development, leveraging
cutting-edge modular and sustainable building techniques.
U-Sphere
plans to add 1,000 employees over the next five years as it expands into
Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, targeting INR 2,000-crore from public infrastructure,
commercial, and industrial projects. ULCCS seeks to replicate its successful
Kerala model through U-Sphere, in these new regions.
Leveraging
its expertise in smart infrastructure, U-Sphere will integrate AI-driven
analytics, IoT-enabled monitoring, and digital project management to enhance
efficiency, improve speed of construction, and optimize resource utilization.
Rameshan
